Many people think it's simply the best time of the year on Cape Cod and I agree! The crowds have thinned, the air is crisp, the water still warm enough to swim, and the fall festivals are abundant. There is no shortage of things to explore or activities to keep you busy. Here are just a few to choose from:

Eastham Windmill Weekend, September 8-10th - Activities include a sand art competition, road races, band concerts, arts and craft show, tricycle race, dancing and a parade.

Celebrate Our Waters Festival, September 15-17th - 50 free events including paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, sand sculptures, nature walks, talks, tours, model sailboats and beach bonfire.

Harwich Cranberry Festival, September 16-17th - The festival includes food, live music, a large craft show, family fun beach day, parade and the return of fireworks in 2017!

Truro Treasures Weekend, September 22-24th - The weekend offers a silent art auction, arts and crafts fair, flea market, grape stomp, car show, 5k run/walk, golf tournament, Truro police demo and open house & more.

Cape Cod Scallop Fest, September 22-24th - Famous fried scallop & chicken dinners, food court and beer & wine garden, chowder, lobster rolls, raw bar, professional arts & crafts show, live entertainment, carnival midway of children's rides & games, car show and more.

Yarmouth Seaside Festival, October 7-9th - Large craft fair with more than 125 crafters, a parade, live entertainment, kayak and canoe races, a 5K road race, a pie-eating contest, fireworks, and more.
