Does anything seem more beachy than a sand sculpture? They both amaze us with their detail and also transport us back to a time when we made our own with a pail and shovel. The Yarmouth Sand Sculpture Trail is not an ordinary collection of sandcastles. Each one is delightfully unique but they all share an amazing craftsmanship and whimsy.
Not only are they beautifully crafted but they're also impressively built. They last for months and withstand a considerable amount of wind, rain, and even the occasional Cape hurricane.
If you have driven around Yarmouth during the summer you have undoubtedly seen the wonderful sand sculptures all over town. The town of Yarmouth funds the sculptures, local businesses commission the artists, and the sculptures are designed by Fitzysnowman Studios. This year there are 17 sculptures of all different themes displayed throughout Yarmouth. Check out the map to see where all the sculptures are located and be sure to see them all.
